SGC’s welders are the best in the world!
Dmitry Arkhipov has won an international welding championship. Linar Shaihinurov has taken an honorable fifth place. Russian team, which has become the best in total scoring, has also celebrated victory.
‘It is difficult to describe what I’m feeling at the moment! Participation in this contest is a great honor and responsibility. I’m very glad, that I managed to show the best I could and gain the first place. The competitors were strong, but we turned out to be better prepared both professionally and psychologically. Many thanks to everybody who helped us training and achieving the victory!’ shared his impressions Dmitry Arkhipov.
International welding championship «2017 Shanghai “ArcCup” Competition» had been taking place in the People’s Republic of China from June 24 to 30. 73 teams (248 welders) from various countries participated. Russia was represented by 16 delegates, including two from Stroygazconsulting group of companies.
‘It’s an incredibly significant event for SGC and for the whole country! I had been following the contest and saw that our guys were the best! Today I’m very proud that they proved it to the world. We invested many efforts and soul to this joint victory. We have many achievements ahead, this is just a beginning, but what a bright one!’ said the Director of welding and non-destructive testing department, the Chief Welder, Sergey Savchuk.
Dmitry Arkhipov and Linar Shaihinurov, who are the winners of SGC’s corporate competition, are working at Zapolyarpromgrazhdanstroy. At the beginning of the year they showed good performance at All-Russian Competition ‘The best in the profession’ in the ‘Best welder’ category, according to the results of which NAKS has formed a national team. Dmitry Arkhipov was entrusted to present Russia in gas tungsten arc welding nomination and Linar Shaihinurov competed in manual metal arc welding nomination. Their success and good scores of other team’s welders allowed Russia to become the best in team scoring.
